How to Prepare for Your Photo Session
Locations. Discuss the photo session route with your photographer in advance. Popular spots in Tbilisi include the Old Town, the sulfur baths district, the Botanical Garden, and the Bridge of Peace. In Kazbegi — the trail to Gergeti, and the Zhinvali Reservoir. In Kakheti — the vineyards and Alaverdi Monastery.
Timing. The best light for photography is during the hour before sunset (golden hour). Plan your photo session around this time. The midday sun in Georgia is very harsh — it creates sharp, unflattering shadows.
Comfort. Bring comfortable shoes for walking between locations, water, and blotting papers (if it's hot). The more comfortable you feel, the more natural and beautiful your photos will be.
